It is an STi 5 - it has a numbered plaque on the centre console "555 Subaru WRC Limited Edition STi 040#/1000".
It is very fast with the high output engine and lightweight body and glass - the official 0-60 time is around 4.1 or 4.2 seconds.
E-mail me directly for my telephone number if you are interested. I am going to put four new tyres on it tomorrow.
Cheers............Greig.

Did you get the photos I e-mailed to you? Where are you based?

Are photos of the interior of interest to anyone?
Ronan, I am going to have to Road Tax the car in the UK unless you call me in the next two days.
John, please e-mail me your number so we can arrange to meet up around half way.
Simon, I'm having trouble with my USB connection for my camera - which I am trying to fix tonight. As soon as I fix it I'll take some interior shots and e-mail them to you. I'm based near Chester.

Greig, got the outside pic. Looks nice
I'll wait to see the inside ones as well. Insurance company will tell me what the state of play is on Tuesday, I think. Then I'll either have a wad of greenies to throw around or I'll have a long wait in a 1.5 Civic while mine gets repaired...
Watch this space.

Simon, the interior shots are not the best quality as they were taken after your reply last night and converted onto disk at work today to be e-mailed. I'll take some more in the daylight....but you get the idea.

If it's any consolation, after I sell my STi I'll be driving a 1.4 Corolla until my new car arrives in November!
Rob, thanks for the reply. Yep, those insurance quotes do sound a bit steep! I paid £1200 for the year through Tesco. I had to have a Tracker installed though, and yes, it is still active.

The major stumbling block was that i don`t have full no claims, my Celica GT4 was stolen just over 2 years ago and i only have 2 yrs no claims discount! I was a bit gutted to be honest Grieg as those sort of cars don`t come up often, good luck with the Porsche when it arrives in November Grieg and maybe we can have a bit of fun on the road sometime with you chasing Scoobie exhaust fumes lol. Thanx again Rob
Thanks Rob. I know what you mean about cars like this not coming around very often - Scooby enthusiasts get really excited about my car! To be honest I didn't know what I was getting when I bought it. My mate was using it as his company car! Anyway, look forward to chasing you in my new car. G.
Photos are on their way.
Can someone tell me how I can post photos to the thread?
Greig.

I have seen the pics of Grieg`s car and it looks fantastic with the roof vent! But its the bits you can`t see that should sell this car 0-60 in 4.1 secs! Good luck with the sale Grieg

Please post some picture up here!
OK, OK, I'll take some photos tomorrow if it's not raining and post them on the thread.
However, as I keep saying, this car is all about the unbeleiveable acceleration, so how about I film a 5 or 10 second MPEG and e-mail it to whoever is interested?
(Please don't swamp me with e-mails if you aren't serious about buying the car.)

I've tried to upload some pictures without success.
Thanks Simon for posting the old pics I sent you earlier.
Anyway, I have some new photos I can e-mail to anyone who's interested.
