I would suggest lowering the start price to encourage bidding thus will help others to bid rather than eveyone waiting to the last minutes whereby some folk are prepared to bid say 3500, but put in a cheeky 3300 and then loose out to time to re-bid. Its always a gamble on eBay but you have got it ending at a reasonable time (Busy web time of night with no England games)
Your start price is close to what someone may want to pay for a car, not start bidding. But once they start bidding a say 2500, they may be encouraged to keep bidding as others do the same and before they relaise what they have done you may have reached your reserve price.

Unlucky fella, but this is the nature of how the Bugs are going on eBay at the moment. Try Pistonheads maybe?

It sucks that, only problem with bug in general is there not selling, i bought i standard bug on a 2000 plate for £3150, the only issue with you bug is the miles but if its at the right price it will sell.

Honestly relist it at a good time/day to end (8pm on a non England Game) with the reserve set at lower with the start price at £1200.
When Ive sold my car in the past Ive always put the car in a scenic spot and squated down to take the photos so the car looks slicker. Also there is still a stigma with the bug that its ugly, so use a rear qtr photo for the first image in the eBay advert.
Good luck.
