- And no damage that on the bodywork at all. Its immaculate other than a few stone chips at the front.
- one uk owner plus importing company, been in the country 4 years.
On the logbook it only states 2.0 subaru as its an import and its not been registered as an sti (as with a lot of these imports) and its down to the new owner to insure it correctly.

Ive had two imported cars, 1- a WRX 2001 bug which was a Cyprus import and all the docs were pucka, and 2- I had a Mitis FTO GPvR and this was obviously an import and the log book stated Mitsibushi FTO (thats it). I rang DVLA and my insurance and they acknowledged what it was and said not to worry im insured and they sent me wrtiten proof of the telephone conversation should I need to claim in the future, or even if I get pulled by the plod and need to produce my Docs. Norwich Union at the time.

import companies are only allowed to import so many of a certain model each year, which is why a lot of performance cars imported from japan are only registered as basic models or no model is given at all (like this one). Its down to the owner to declare the model when insuring the vehicle.
As i have a trade policy anyway I'm insured to drive any vehicle so this has never been an issue for me.
