Extra Info: Unfortunately its time to sell my beloved Subaru i love this car to pieces as you all know and i dont want to sell it but needs must.
The car has done 120k so roughly 74,700miles.
I want to start saving so i can move out, free debt etc etc. I have owned this car for 9 months and have loved every second of it and has been my daily drive ever since. Many many people in West Mids Imprezas have seen this car and can vouch for how clean it is i have recently sent it to the bodyshop to have the little bits of bodywork done and is spot on now, im the second owner since it coming into the country and since owning it i have spent thousands on her the spec is as follows:

Engine/Drivetrain:

Electric Folding Mirrors
Electric Windows All Round
Aircon
Pioneer Double Din
Blue Sti Front Seats
Numbered Plaque
Fully Suparguarded

Security:
Clifford Concept Cat1 With Certificate
And Proximity Sensors
Turbo Timer Function
There isnt alot else i can say about the car, the car is immaculate and doesnt want for anything. Its just had a new Top Hose and Geniune Subaru MAF Sensor. Its never been sponge washed only microfibre wash mitts, snow foamed before every wash and i only use Dodo Juice Cleaning Products.
Before me taking ownership it had a cambelt, clutch, spigot bearing. Then when i purchased it i had a spark plug change using iridium plugs, fuel filter changed and a full inspection carried out at scoobyworld. Oil changed 3 months ago. Mot runs out in the end of August and Taxed till the end of the month but i will put 6 months on.
The car Rolling Roaded 3 weeks ago and made a healthy 304bhp and 282lbs of torque at stock boost and i have the graphs to prove. With a remap you would see around 320/320.

It's an MY99 if it's an STi5 RA Ltd.

Why hasnt the speedo being modified to MPH, thats required for import and V5 documentation unless things have changed?

I have a full log book and have had import cars for a long time and they have always been in and that's buying from dealers/private.

Regarding MY99 the log book states it was registered 01/08/1998 I was only saying it was My98 (as in my car) impreza and yes it is a 555 Type Ra should of put that as the thread title my mistake.

Ltd was meant to state it being a limited edition. Hope that clears everything up.

Matt

I've owned two of this model and currently have an MY05 JDM STi, all have the speedo changed to MPH as part of the import process.

This is my 4th import car and all of them have been in km and I've never had any issues

I wouldn't like them converted to be honest because it messes up the mileage readings being part km and part mph, plus it keeps it jdm

is the car still reading fully in km then mate (speedo and odometer) ?

i was always under the impression that it was a requirement to have at least the speedo converted to pass an mot but the odometer could read either ? If that's not been changed is the car still limited to 110mph (or whatever it is) then ?

Also has the car been mapped to suit our fuel (which i think they usually do on import but could be wrong)?

The speedo and odometer are both in km, the car has had two mots and has passed no problem. As I have said before all my import cars were all in km and have never had any issues whatsoever.

Yes the car is still limited to 112mph/180kmh

The car isn't mapped but was rolling roaded before I purchased the car at scoobyclinic and the afr's were spot on.

And again I had it rolling roaded 3 weeks ago at scoobyworld and the afrs are perfect, so no need to worry about that I always run it on v power and has always been fine no problems at all.

Right i have just checked with our Mot Testers at work (BMW) and they said the only legal requirement is a rear fog lamp (which is hard wired in the drivers side rear light) And when they input the odometer reading they swap it to Km on the Mot Computer
