Default MY99 - 470bhp 2.5 Classic Impreza - very high spec

I'm looking to move on to my next Impreza, so I'm offering mine for sale. I don't really want to break it for parts, but that isn't out of the question - just don't bombard me with PM's asking for parts, just yet.

Here is the spec:
MY 99 UK Turbo 2000 - T registration
3 owners from new, including me

Engine:
STI 2.5 Semi CDB (EJ257) with Wiesco forged rods & pistons
850 cc injectors
Parallel fuel rails & Fse Fpr
ARP head studs
Cometic head gaskets
RCM uprated oil pump
Cosworth baffle plate
Refurbished heads
Lateral GT Spec headers
Turbo Technics T38 - s206 Turbo
Carl Davey manifold spacers
Samco inlet with RCM trumpet & K&N Cone
RCM Catch tank with return to sump
CDF Racing Anodised pullys
STI Washer bottle
HDI Hybrid FMIC with custom stainless pipework by Engine tuner
3" Stainless exhaust with an STi style rear box - looks very OEM & not too loud - 98db recorded @ Castle Combe last week
Simtek ECU with Launch control & Anti Lag - 2 maps 400 ish on pump fuel & 468 bhp / 585 lb ft on 10% Meth
All Engine Work by Alan Jefferey - www.enginetuner.co.uk

Transmission:
Version 7 Sti 6 speed gearbox - ratios from a Forester STi - these are the best ratios for a 2.5 IMHO (rebuilt by API last year with this brand new gearset)
Version 7 3.9 rear differential
Version 7 rear shafts & hubs
Helix twin plate clutch & billet flywheel

Brakes:
Version 7 rear 2 pot Brembos
Version 7 Brembo rear discs
Godspeed 330mm grooved front discs
AP 4 pot calipers with DS2500 pads
Braided goodridge hoses all round.

Suspension:
Whiteline Anti lift kit
Whiteline Front 22m ARB
Whiteline Solid droplinks - front & rear
Whiteline rear 24mm ARB
WRX KYB shocks & springs (2 are brand new)

Interior:
Standard UK Turbo 2000 interior - in very good condition, drivers seat has some wear, but there are no rips or *** burns
Defi Din gauges in an OEM centre pod - looks very factory
STI Lamco boost gauge on steering wheel cowling
JDM Floor mats

Wheels & Tyres:
Mint - Speedline ST2 alloys with T1R rubber - plenty of tread
Track rims - Speedlin RB5 wheels with Pirelli Aysymetrics - 2 are not legal (wheels are in need of a refurb, but straight)

Exterior:

Mica green paintwork - In all honesty, it could do with being painted. I have been looking into a typr r to reshell my running gear into or an RA.
The shell itself it straight, there is some rust on both rear arches - just starting, there is no rust around the fuel flap & the underside is rust free.
There are some dents on both sides, the usual car park dents & some stone chipping on the front end. That said, when washed it looks a very clean car.

Other parts:

I have a selection of spares that I will include in the sale, some are brand new parts in the packets - trim clips & brackets for foglights, spare TMIC, etc.
I also have a full RB5 interior (in VGC), including, Seats, doorcards & centre console, steering wheel & passenger airbag & all dash parts,
dash upper in black flock & lowers in dark grey - flocked by TingTongPJ - Inclusion of this will depend on final sale price

PRICE:
£6999 or nearest offer
obviously I know the bodywork isn't perfect, however this car is probably worth close to 10k in parts, so it is either a cheap way to get your own car up to spec or break it & make a profit.

I would be interested in a PX on a Hawkeye STI - preferably a Spec D

PM me for more details
Cheers
Craig

Just to add, I have a concertina file full of recipts for all the work carried out, all of the engine work was carried out at Enginetuner, the mapping by Martyn Jeffery :

The gearbox rebuild was by API in leamington & other servcing & work by other reputable tuners.

I haven't added the reciepts up, but roughly it totals 20k +

I have all the original handbooks & service history from the main dealers, the mileage is at 103k - however, all the running gear is virtually new, the engine has about 7k on it

This is a seriously quick car, that looks very standard on the outside, just the way I like it!

Just to add, there isn't anything wrong with the car, it was on the track at Castle Combe last Friday & performed faultlessly, a testament to the skill of the chaps at Enginetuner.

Cheers Mus! - Maybe it's too cheap?

I priced it to sell as I don't really want the hassle of breaking it for parts, however that isn't out of the question. I think it should sell at this price, its a hell of a lot of car for the money.

csibee> I've got a dyno graph, I will post it up later when I get home from work (unless MartynJ is reading this & fancies doing it for me )

I will make sure the car is serviced & fresh oils & filters are installed before selling. The car does also have a tracker fitted.

I'd probably be interested in a WR1 as a PX

Cheers

Just to add, with a slight revision to the turbo, 500 + bhp will be possible with this spec.
