Very nice car and well worth the money imho. I too have a green T reg classic that looks like a piece of sh*t, where as yours looks very tidy with a great spec. If I hadnt invested so much in mine I would of had to consider buying it.
Best of luck with the sale.

Very true. I guess the person that asked was under the impression I'm desperate to sell, believe me, I'm not & certainly not at that price. The price I've set is very reasonable, considering the spec.

Indeed: if you walked into a proper Subaru specialist and asked them for a 450bhp car (engine, ancilliaries and transmission only) you'd be looking at a 10-12k bill and that's before the get to the brakes, suspension, oh and the rolling chassis etc itself.
7k for the whole lot is a steal!

Thanks chaps!
On top of all the stuff which has been done, the car has been maintained regardless of cost, In the 3 years I've owned this car it has never failed an MOT. The brakes are about a year old, the pads & discs have load of meat on them, it has had 3 out 4 wheel bearings replaced in the last few months, I'm sure you get the idea.
If it doesn't sell then the paintwork will get done this year.

Dropping the running gear into a v5/6 type is the right way to go, I did go & look at a v5 ra at Scoobybits recently, but it wasn't clean enough, my car, apart fromt he rear arches is rust free, that RA wasn't & it had damage to one of the chassis legs.
It looks like it will be gone by Easter to be replaced with a WR1

I so wish I could get my hands on £7k right now!
This is the sort of spec I would love my car to be at. You just don't see UK Classics at these specs every day.
Great price for an awesome Turbo 2k! If i win the lottery tomorrow I'll be in touch.

What a total bargain of a car matey ....i have been gradually tuning my RB5 this last three years and am only getting to the stage of a big build now.
Ive already done the gearbox (6 speed), suspension, brakes, injectors, exhaust etc etc, and listen people, i can tell you when I start and add it all up it will easily top £8k for parts alone on my car....and thats without the big build like DJ_Jon's car....so what are you waiting for, someone get this car bought NOW and go drive it
7k?? Buttons for this
And all work done by a reputable company like enginetuner....what more could you want

With the greatest respect Fud, I won't be taking 6k for this, at £6999 it is cheap as ****.
I appreciate the offer, but as you previously offered £5500 then 6k via PM & both times I declined, I shall decline again.
