A friend just sold his P1 for 8.5k...

It looks like it is debadged? Why would you do that? And what happened to the alloys?

And where have you been all this time to not find Scoobynet....

I think he means it doesnt look right with the different wheels and debadged, part of what makes the p1 such a nice looking car just looks like a V6 typeR with the jap wheels, not meaning anythin bad as i have a typeR myself but the p1 always just looked better, dont know why when they are the same base car,but free bump to help the sale

Did your friends p1 have a 18G??
I think for the mileage, the price is spot on.
Do agree about the wheels though, standard wrc-1's all the way on a p1.

Don't listen to some of the people in this thread, thats an awesome car (certainly better than a forrester) I think the wheels look great, I've got white wheels on m P1 and is gone down a treat on the P1 owners club! I think its a cheap car for the asking price with those mods, if I was still looking I would have had it myself, Good luck with the sale!

Why, does an 18g cost 2k? Seriously though, we all know that mods we have done to our cars are not worth squat come resale. My mate had recently spent 5.6k on his P1, and it was mint, but that's just the way it goes.

If you actually looked at my profile you would see that I had a P1 , from new , after waiting a year for it . Who are you to judge a Forester? Have you ever driven one? After all it is just an Impreza underneath......

...and the Forester is currently outputting 341bhp/360ftlb torque, and a lot more next week.......certainly more than this P1!!!

I am not slagging off this P1, just saying that IMO people want the purist, non fettled, collectors car, and I think it is slightly overpriced, its a buyers market after all.

Good luck with the sale.....

No, quite....but I would assume that someone who wants a P1, would want the things that aesthetically make a P1 i.e. badges, wheels etc....otherwise they would get a type R.....

Granted ScoobySteve wheels are nice (a rare exception), but I personally prefer the P-WRC1's.

And for the record, yes, I agree 9k is a good price! A little more than the value I quoted earlier.
