Thumbs up Opel Manta 1.8S C Reg Free To Good Home

Car now found new home
1986 Opel Manta 1.8S in red free to good home.

76,000 miles - not auto choke but Webber carb 32/34 DMTL.

Has been sitting in my dads garage for the last 7 years covered up with rugs and sheets. Negligable rust on one of the wheel arches.

Must go by wednesday otherwise its off to the scrappy.

Engine last started 12 months ago.

Also full 3" exhaust and tubular manifold and second interior.

I dont want anything for it - other than good home.

YOu sure it's not the rusty silver thing in the background you're giving away...???

I've texted a mate of mine.. we're after a track toy!!! and this has potential....

All,

Car is just south of durham near the A1.

Last look is that it needs all the brakes sorting so you would need to put it on a trailer.

Just found out from my dad that the second interior was chucked last autumn.

That's far too far away for me especially as I'd have to find a trailer and tow it two ways. There's no way of doing it

Thanks anyway.

I had a red GT just like that when I was 19 - probably gone to the big scrappy in the sky now !!

Brings back a few good memories though !!!

Looks like yours was a pretty good one - hopefully its gone to a good home.

Yep looked a good one.

Is the exclusive a runner & whats the 400 rep got under the bonnet ???

I used to also have 400 rep after my GT - used to use it for road rallys.
