Default MY99 UK DBM £6200 ono. Newish thread

I need to fund a mega trip to OZ, and the only thing I have to sell is my pride and joy. I bought her in Dec 04, and have spent nearly 2k on her since then.

Ive had the 90K service done (February)
Replacement front calipers
New front discs and pads all round
Decat front pipe (old one kept) but passed MOT this week with no problems
New MAF
New Lambda
New 17" Rotas, with Toyo Proxys
Tax till November and 12 Months MOT
New Green Panel Filter (500 miles on it)
Forge DV
Magnex 6x4 Oval with resonated center
Short shift selector

The car has as standard, Aircon, Ice Warning System, Electric Sunroof, Philips Radio Cassette and 6 Disc boot changer and all the usual bits and bobs

I have two keys, and two sigma fobs, AND a brand new spare one, which i havent programmed yet. Tracker is installed and has just be renewed.

There is an A4 folder full of reciepts and service bills for work carried out, and the Service book is fully stamped, AND she's had the bodywork services done too, apart from last years.

Interior is very very clean, and has never been smoked in.
Since I've had the car, it has been warmed up and cooled down correctly, although I VERY rarely put my foot down these days, being 37, Im now classed as a mature owner, and I drive like one too. The car is washed once or even twice a week.

The bad points are the usual. Minor Tesco dings in drivers door, and stone chips to front, but most have been touched in when noticed, otherwise, she's mint. There is a slight whine in in 5th, but this is quite common, and the gearbox is perfect.

This car will need nothing for a long long time, and is running like a dream and sounding awesome.

For the weekend, NOT for the car. Looks like a bad time to be selling a Scoob, and to quit sniffing glue

Sold MY99 uk turbo( T plate) with 71k and fsh back in may for £5900 and that took about 5 weeks. I had it up for £6250
Just takes patience and a realistic price IMO and your price is not far away.
Far too many people want more than their car is worth.

the gearbox whine does sound dodgy, i just sold my MY99 impreza and the box was perfect in that, i'd say a box rebuild is on the cards unfortunately

Yip, now sold on Ebay! Sorry Pimmo. Yes it does have a slight whine, but theres nothing wrong with gear selection, and its done it since I got it! Even newer Scoobs can whine (so ive been told)
