Very fair price. Dont think you will have much trouble if people know what the 333 conversion is.

Maybe a good idea to elaborate on the exact mods involved.

 

Fair point hol, for those that don`t know of The TSL 333 conversion. It is perhaps one of the best-known performance conversions. The package comprises TSL ECU remap (using ECUTEK software) unlike prodrive each car gets a bespoke remap, complete 76mm pulse-extraction 304 stainless steel exhaust system including high flow sports catalyst (fully road legal), uprated fuel pump, TSL Green high flow panel filter.


Rated by EVO Magazine in June 2004 as "the best balance of performance and price" of all the comparable conversions available, this takes the STi VIII to 330 BHP at 6100 rpm giving 330 lb/ft torque @ 3600 rpm (using Optimax fuel).

I have an MY04 STI with PPP, would it be worthwhile looking at the 333?

The cost of the 333 is really on a par with ppp as far as i`m aware, i had a geometry set up done at the same time so my bill would be slightly different. With regard to whether or not they could look at a ppp car with the view of tuning further i have no idea but i am quite certain that there will be people here that have an answer for you.

Rob, sorry mate i`m not really looking for a p.x. i am trying to sell to fund a refit of my butchers shop, and with the quotes i`m getting for the work i`m afraid i`ve got to look at the possibility of selling my car, very very unwillingly but many thanks for your interest.

If you really wanted the car i am sure you'd be prepeared to travel abit of distance.

 

I think that the " distance " thing is possibly putting a few potential buyers off, but at the end of the day if someone who is seriously looking for a car like this wanted to view it then i would do my very best to make it available for viewing somewhere convienent for everyone involved, and without sounding funny i firmly believe that this car is worth covering a few miles to view. i may be bias of course

Easy said, at the end of the day it might take a couple of trips , to view, sort money, pick the car up, i doubt anyone would carry £18000 in cash and buy a car at first look also if you use anyother method than cash the seller will want the funds to clear and that can take up to five days.

 

Thats a fair point trooper, but it can work, my mate travelled to London to view an evo because the car was exactly what he was looking for, he bought it and yes it took about a week to get all the necessary done and he had to go back to get it, we thought he was mad because he could have got one up here but the car is an absolute gem. I think the problem is that they are just moving very slowly just now coupled to the fact that only a small amount of people actually buy these type of cars, simply looking at the choice available on S.N. its definately a buyers market currently and at the end of the day i think that it just takes a little longer to sort things out when buying a car that costs nearly 20k

i agree with you and your scoob really does look worth traveling for, so i did do a route map just to see how far? and it was, 480 miles each way! i live in dorset so to be honest couldn,t be further away which is a pity, hence my comment saying i wish you were closer. I really do hope you have some luck selling, cos your scoob looks like its worth every penny your asking.

hi guys, ive just bought my STi 8 from a guy in Scotland and i live in Newcastle, it sounded a good deal on the phone and he sent me loads of pics so i viewed the car with a nice bankers draft in my pocket in a view to buying it, was simple and im so pleased,
its got the TSL 33 pack on it too and frick me its quick!!!

 

Do what i did. Take the seller to your bank, pay £25 for same day bank transfer, go to the pub, have lunch with him (he paid). Ring his bank, check money is in then do the paperwork.
