Its always worth travelling if its what you want. My mate bought a truck on Ebay from N Ireland, because it was cheap. He got a flight there ok from Southampton and booked the ferry back etc. All was ok until it broke down on the M6, the RAC would not help as it was a commercial. The police turned up checked all the docs etc, while my mate was changing lots of taps and valves to switch to the 2nd fuel tank. All the taps were unmarked so he didnt know where he was up to. The pikey who sold it to him wasn't answering his mobile so the police got a local mechanic to attend the scene. My mate had to tell him that he needed to switch to the 2nd fuel tank which was red diesel without the police overhearing...
All good fun, he got back ok with just 1 callout bill and the chancellor is non the wiser.

Eleanorbhoy, thanx for putting that in for me, managed up the road earlier so could get back on today, a wee response to your earlier post ,isn`t it about time you were honest with yourself and admitted that you want it so badly , for the two fellas that asked, the car is still here and for sale @ serious offers in excess of 17.5k, its worth every penny of that and imho so much more but you have to be realistic dont you
cheers

I'm trying to sell (giveaway) my 2003 TSL333, same spec as yours but higher mileage for £14k! and there's very little interest. They're a lot of car but people seem uninterested, do you think it's because of all the misinformation about warranty that is spread on this board. Most things on the car are still elligible for warranty in fact, I took the Triple 3 badge off my car and unless you drove it you wouldn't know it wasn't a standard STi with a exhaust. Have you tried Autotrader?

cars are just not selling-everyone can pick up cheap 04 cars seconh hand from dealer or dealers are trying to shift 05 cars in preparation for 06 car so generally everyone is waiting for the next best thing unfortunately, that is why i thought s*d it and put chargecooler on my 333 and keep it until all dancing 07 car comes out

365,that sounds like a hell of a lot of car for the money and i hope you get it sold at that, i tried autotrader once but didn`t get that great a responce not unless you count being offered countless dodgy p/x " will you take my vectra sri & 7k mate " as probably one of the best offerings, i think in all honesty martin has a fair point when he says that nothing is really shifting at the mo and i think a lot of owners have possibly sh4t themselves when they see what some are going for and bunged theirs up for sale, cutting their own throat just to sell, i have a tad of interest from two fellows at the moment but if none of these materialise into anything then i`m doing what kieran suggested and keeping it, i have now put off my proposed work at my shop so am not at all needing to sell it now but i know for a fact if i keep it i will continue to spend on it, possibly going down the chargecooling route also, did you go back to TSL for there chargecooling system Martin ??, while i have had the car advertised for sale i have bought a pair of strut braces for it and am looking for a set of defi`s or a secs monitor, it just goes on and on , the joys of scooby ownership
