1996 IMPREZA WRX STi
Hi all
Unfortunately my pride and joy is up for sale, due to impending mortgage and recent redeployment to a crap job with no overtime...
1996 (N) SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STi Version 2 (4dr) Silver.
She has 53,500 miles on the clock, i've had her since 31,000 (2 and 1/2 years). When i bought her she had just been imported from Japan.
I have Full Service History since she was imported (all done at AWD Performance in Perth) and also the Jap Servce History, although its in Japanese so it didn't mean much to me.
MOT'd until March 2006.
Taxed until February 2006.
All original Sti spec - Red-Top Engine, Suede/Cloth Trim, Nardi Steering-wheel, Intercoooler Waterspray, Alloy Bonnet/Boot/Front Wings, etc..
The car has very few mods and only ones which i felt were sensible:
Full Blitz Nur-Spec Exhaust System and De-Cat Down-pipe (Sounds Awesome!)
Scooby Ecu (Slightly higher boost and mapped for Optimax/SUL)
Boost Guage/AFR
SAMCO Silicone Hoses
Alpine Mp3 CD Player, with small amp, woofer and upgraded Infinity speakers front and back.
Gemel Alarm/Immobiliser.
I have had her on the rollers twice only, the first time more or less standard (283bhp/237lbf) and once after above mods (301bhp/243lbf).
She has never been on the track. I did hope to try this but ended up working abroad for a year, so only used her at weekends during this time.
Always garaged and regularly washed and waxed. There are quite a few small stone chips on the bonnet - this is apparently a problem with import scoobs if i remember correctly - thin paint or something! I never really worried about it too much as the car is silver and the bonnet is aluminium anyway, so it won't rust.
I have a drawer full of receipts for everything that has been done to her in the last 2 1/2 years, and have had no problems whatsoever with her. I did have to replace the coolant system header-tank not long after i bought her, as it was plastic and starting to corrode. The replacement is a Pace stainless steel one, so no more problems there.
I have just put the car in the Autotrader for £6500.
If anyone is interested, pleas e-mail me at Dodge138@aol.com
I still can't believe i'm doing this :-(
..oh, and i'm in Fife, Scotland
I'll put up some pics when i've figured out how to do it!!
Cheers, Dodge

I know this thread is a bit old now, but if this car is still available I'd be interested dodge138. On the look around for a decent STi from around that age and yours sounds perfect. If it is, could you email some pics to
