Why did it need a a new engine at such low miliage?

Hi,

Basically, one of the conrods broke. It was fully sorted out under warranty - I guess the benefit to the purchaser is that the engine is relatively young for a '97 car.

 

There's no immediate hurry - if I've still got it then, you're more than welcome to have it - PM me nearer the time or something..

At this price it's a bit of a bargain though, so you never know.

Of course, you could always maintain your insurance NCB by transferring it to this car now - you don't have to wait for the year to end to get the NCB credit.

 

you do when you need another years no claims to actually get a decent quote for a turbo
