Chris,

Is that torque figure correct?

Wish I could buy it back, but someone will get a nice car.

Dave.

It is dave Think it's down to your choice of exhaust and downpipe, + the excellent BRD DEVELOPEMENTS remap as well of course

Must be nice to drive with that amount of torque

You planning on keeping the STI7 quieter than this one?

I'm seriously thinking about taking the exhaust of this one, and putting it on whatever I get in the future dave
Just had the bung back in all last week, as I was on earlies. What a difference, car seems so quiet in comparison, and overtaking much slower
Back out for this week, so listen out for me on saturday and sunday, as I'll be in your area

chris.

ps, pm me your address m8, might stop in on the saturday on the way to lordhardings gaf

luca2020, at this rate, it probably will be

nick200, never seen another in country as yet, and non at the nbo last year or this!
May well be selling it seperatly, as am toying with the clean, no spoiler look, or a carbon sti6 spoiler

Chris,

Nick is right about the spoiler, think there are about 5 or 6 in the country (so still VERY rare). If your thinking of taking it off I would be interested, it would really suit my new car

Not about on Saturday, but might be back for Sunday to see you at the start of the 'raid'.

Chris,

YHPM also

Don't mean to upset you but $950 is less than £600, and most secondhand mods are half the value of new. So Nick is close, but I would have said you should get around £300. Which is still a good price considering what I paid for it over 2 years ago.

Chrome - Can you tell me a little more about the exhaust "Bung" you have mentioned.

Can these bungs sort out emissions as well as dBs ??

I have an MY99 with standard exhaust up to the SS Back Box.
I want to "Free up" the engine by getting a 3 1/2" down pipe but understand that emissions might be an issue at MOT.

Does anyone know if a "Bung" can sort out this situation for me ?

I am in Hertfordshire

PS did you take the photos near Lyme Hall ??

"Bungs" are purely to quieten down an exhaust, they will do nothing for emmissions. If you remove your downpipe cat, your emmissions may fail an mot. A good idea is to have the downpipe fitted at a sympathetic garage, who will then perform the mot at a later date. Keep the orginal, and then explain to them that you still "could" pass, if they re-fitted the cat downpipe

Tastefully modded and looked after and loved by its last 2 owners.
