My WRX has to go, on ebay - no reserve
[Edit: Oops, just noticed the rule about not linking to ebay. I'm not sure why that's there, but sorry about that. I've replaced the link with one to some pictures of the car and added a contact number]
'Lo all.
A quick bit of explanation. After a mild collision last year when some fool in a Laguna pulled across in front of me I had some cosmetic damage to the offside front of my WRX wagon. The other fellow refused to admit blame so it went to our respective insurers. Despite just needing new lights, bumper, wing and bonnet they claimed it was uneconomical to fix and made it an economic write-off, giving me a cash payout for what they thought the car was worth. I trawled around for parts and got the necessary bits together, leaving just some plastic welding and spraying to do. As soon as it's roadworthy your enthusiasm tends to wane a bit so that's how it remained for a while.
Come insurance renewal time my insurers still hadn't resolved the dispute and made a large increase in my premium for having no NCB. So, no NCB and a WRX? Not easy. It has to go I'm afraid.

I'm happy to answer any questions anyone has. I will add that it sailed through its MOT in May after having new tyres and brake pads at the beginning of the year, then a new lambda sensor as the old one was on the blink.
Both Triton Motor Services (Christchurch, Dorset) and Bristol Street Auto Body Centre (Bournemouth, Dorset - they seem to have changed their name from Bristol Street Motors since I last was there) inspected the vehicle after the collision and found no structural damage. I wouldn't sell on a vehicle that wasn't safe. I've been driving it since the incident and there has been no effect on the handling in any way.
I've had an awful lot of fun in that car, retaining a clean driving licence I will add - so not too crazy. I hope it brings someone else plenty of enjoyment.
£2,750 ono.
The sale is being handled by a friend of mine as he has good ebay seller feedback, contact: dalewatts@gmail.com or give him a ring to view on 07736 296232

Mate, what do you do if the winning bid is not really that realistic - despite your encouragement of 'no reserve'? Are you totally stuck with it?
[sorry that I'm not looking to buy yours and am picking your brains for my potential e-bay sale

]I suppose the car is only worth what people want to pay for it, we're just going to have to let it go!

the original stereo is included with the sale of the car however it does need the cd player fixing.
The car was involved in a minor front, offside collision which resulted in a dented bonnet and offside wing, damaged bumper and broken lights.
Regarding damage:
There is no structural damage to the car, this was confirmed by Triton Motor Services in Poole (taken there by us, they also imported the car) and Bristol Street Motors (this is who insurance company used to check it).
As the cost of sourcing new Japanese replacement parts would have been high, the Insurance company have registered the car as an economic write off (cat D) very low damage this car was fixed for around £250 but due to other commitments has not been finished, hence no reserve!
We sourced replacement parts for the car including bonnet and a brand new genuine Subaru wing. The green bumper still attached to the car is cracked but can be repaired very easily. All receipts are available for the replacement parts. If you want to come and have a look before bidding then email me. dalewatts@gmail.com or give me a ring to view on 07736 296232 any more questions please feel free to ask and i'll be happy to help more pictues here http://groups.msn.com/AtHomeCarSales/shoebox.msnw"
