Ok, yesterday I did a deal to trade my STI Type UK in for another car, and my car is going to the dealer (not Subaru) this Saturday/Sunday and it will be subsequently on the forecourt of a Subaru dealer or performance car dealer within a few days.

As ever with a trade in, the sales man has told me to sell it privately if someone comes up with more reddies than the trade in offer.

So, the car is up for grabs to anyone who wishes to out bid the dealer! Not going to post trade in price, but I will confirm by email to anyone who is genuinely interested in the car. The motor has plenty of toys on to make it one extremely quick, and great looking motor, the spec as follows:

• MY02 Impreze WRX STI Type UK Prodrive Edition (Reg: March 2002)
• 35,000 miles, 1 owner, NOT pre registered by dealer as demo car.
• Prodrive Performance Package (rolling roaded at 315bhp and 315 lbs/ft torque)
• 19" OZ Super Legs in Gold - Toyo Proxy T1-S Tyres (2 new last weekend)
• Prodrive Hella 1000FF Driving Lamp Kit with Prodrive Style Covers
• Official Subaru World Rally Mud Flaps (the expensive ones!)
• Defi Dash Mounted Centre Gauge Pod, with Oil Temp, Exhaust Gas Temp, Turbo gauges) with Defi Control Unit II
• DBA Vented and Grooved Brake Discs All Round
• STI Type UK Floor Mats
• STI Carbon Reflector Blanks
• Window Tints In Rear

on top of this, you can have:

• Original 17" Subaru Wheels with Tyres and 2 full sets of spare tyres with good track day tread on them
• Original Exhaust System (pr PPP)
• Original in dash digital clock unit (pre Defi's)

Problems with the car: Inside of the drivers door, the plastic vinyl material has a 1cm square tear, which can be rectified for about £50 by Vinyltech (I think). Also, there are two small dings in the drivers side rear door. As usual, there is the usual peppering of stone chips around the front end of the car.

Obviously, I have agreed a price for the car as it is with the dealer, so there will be no splitting of any of the items on the car.

As I said, the car will go in Saturday or Sunday, depending on what is convienient with me or if there is a potential private sale on the cards.
