If anyone wants other pics (of the car!), please email me: markparmstrong@hotmail.com and I can email a few more.

Cars in Thames Valley Autotrader this week and will be up at the MRC Japanese Street Fighter Showdown (Rotorstock) - Shakespeare County Raceway on bank holiday Monday if anyone is going.

Scoobgoth, the silver wheels I can understand may have been changed, but have you any idea why the car does not have the red crackle finish to the manifold? All Sti engines (apart from some of the very early ones) have this, which suggests to me, as a potential buyer that a. it is not the original engine or b. it is a WRX tarted up to look like an Sti.

Not wishing to put a downer on your sale mate, but this worries me. I suggest you have a look at the SIDC faq, compare your engine number with those there, and investigate this anomaly a little, possibly with your importer.

However, if anyone thinks that Sti3 WAGONS, for some reason come without the red finish, please post so here.

Tractor, good spot, but it looks as though its blistered off which is common. You can see the red bits left on some of the non hot parts.

Has all the STi markings and badges, and the right I/C, I/C hose and strut brace.

Looks genuine to me.

the above is true, the red cracle paint has flaked off most of the block, and to be honest, I haven't got round to replacing it (as it will only flake off again!).

as Dark Blue Mark mentioned, all other parts are also STi items

Looks like a lovely car. Can you email me some more details about its history?

Cheers
