Car is now sold. (Gump - yes the 1.8 is a turbo - it's the 2.0 that isn't).

Where did you sell it ? Through scoobynet or the autotrader ?

I too have a GTI turbo for sale and am looking for similar money, its a 5 door, black, full VW history, a/c, 6 cd changer etc with 80k miles.

I put it up on behalf of a friend on Scoobynet, MLR, Pistonheads and BM3W but it was being in Autotrader that sold it.

I eventually sold my own Classic STI v6 through Scoobynet but frankly there was a lot of false interest. But you only need 1 buyer - you've just got to find them.

Have you tried the good old "For Sale" sign in the back window of the car itself? The cheapest form of advertising ever and it might sell it.

Try anything and everything! But only spend money if you are desperate to get shot.
