Default Subaru Impreza Type R - 2.2 Litre, Hybrid Turbo, FMIC, Motec etc.

Well I am thinking of selling the Type R due to being offered another car I cant really refuse! Youll all find out soon enough...

Subaru Impreza STI3 1997 Coupe
Yellow Factory Paintwork
Hewland/Prodrive S2 Gearbox
2.2 Litre Autosportif Blueprinted Engine
- Cosworth Pistons
- Steel Rods
- Steel Crank
550cc Injectors
Motec M48R Pro ECU Fully Mapped
IHI VF30 Hybrid Turbo (Good for 420bhp+)
HKS Front Mount Intercooler
HKS Hardpipes
HKS Downpipe
HKS Hyper Exhaust (Full Decat)
Dual Fuel Pumps with Swirl Pot
18" P1 Alloy Wheels with nearly new Toyos
Brembo STI8 Calipers and Discs with Pads
FET Turbo Timer wired into the Alarm System
STI3 Heads and Cams
KYB Suspension
Eibach Springs
Paddle Clutch with Lightened Flywheel
2001 WRX Interior (Comfier)
Kenwood Head Unit
18" BK Racing 298 Alloy Wheels with nearly new Toyos just refurbed
Carbon Fibre Bonnet Sprayed

Plus other items I cannot remember off the top of my head!

The car is fantastic, very very very quick in the region of 400bhp/380lb-s torque. But it HASNT been rolling roaded yet.

I bought the car off Scoobynet in January and have uprated the:
Brakes
Bigger Turbo
Interior
Remapped

To bring it up reliably. The car drives and handles superb! As a few people on here who have seen it in its 330bhp form, they will confirm it went like stink!

Oil is religously changed every 3000 miles.

Any people seriously interested please call me 07968447961. This car is extremely torquey and fantastic fun to drive.

Im looking for around £11500 for the car. It cost me £11k in January and has had £4000 spent on it since then. Complete history with the car and was featured in Japanese Performance Issue 25.

A standard Type R is normally around £10k. And this has been properly done. Fully documented.

Thanks for looking
Jon (jon.stokes@nelpower.com)

*Update*

Just put a 3 month warranty on the car, £6000 claim limit, you choose a garage, main dealer rates etc. etc.

So any worries there, there isnt now

Jon is selling for what he paid for it 6 months ago after spending thousands making it even more of a beast.

Good luck with the sale

This isnt your average drop in a 2.5 Litre engine and leave the transmission etc!!!

PMSL! This is nuts!

Got my eye on a STI7 now.
