Dont know but that spec is perfect if I was buying one (apart from a TEK2 )

You would make a fair bit more by returning it to standard though. There's a small minority out there who would really apreciate the quality of the mods.

Sell the car for 10k and get at least a couple of £k for the bits...

Cheers, I have toyed with the idea of Tek 2/3 and almost went for it a bit back, but money/xmas & hols got the better of me

im insured with Liv Vic, and to be honest the mods are only about a 100 quid a year more

I really like the VSD, saves having to look down when driving

Hi Sonic,

Did you eventually get the rear wiper wired up? How did you do it?

Regards price....

I know its not what you want to hear, but as you may recall, not too long ago, I was in the same position and found that I HAD to split to get reasonable money for the car.

Unfortunately, you won't get anything like what the car/bits are worth together.

My advice would be to split the easily swapped bits and sell them seperately, and your base car is worth £10k easily.

Finding a buyer is another matter right enough!

Good luck.

VSD on the left or right? Does it make a big difference?

I would put the car back to standard Sonic - Did the same with my Punto GT before I got the Impreza - sold all the aftermarket parts on Ebay and made a fair amount on them plus I had a lot less hassle selling the car. Just think how much you could get for a genuine 22B spoiler etc... Plus you could sell me some parts too

As someone who has recently bought a MY00, I would have to agree with most of the comments above. I would have bought the car in the bottom picture but not in it's current spec. The wheels are a generally desirable option but everything else just limits your market and, if anything, reduces the value of the car.

No offence intended, I can see that the mods go well together and are of good quality, but you are unlikely to find someone with identical taste who wants a MY00 and those mods and is prepared to pay a premium at the same time.

Good luck whatever you do + you have the best place to sell the mods in Scoobynet.

Apart from the 22b bonnet vents, your car is exactly how I want mine to look. I've an MY00 in Sonic Blue that came from Dublin, its X reg with 43K and I paid 10K for it. Only mods were front discs, full de-cat and 16" STI gold 5 spokes and I've subsequently fitted Autometer gauges, Flaps and TEK2.

People will buy your car as it is becuase its going to cost me a fair bit to buy things like P1 lip and 22B spoiler, plus getting the skirts in matching Sonic Blue. Then theres 17s, which are on my wish-list.

If your not in for a quick sale keep it together and sell as is, someone will buy it. If no one bites and you want to take it back to standard let me know

Ray, the VSD is sort of inbetween the Triple gauge pod, and instrument cluster, and almost directly in my line of sight, I didnt really play around with the position of it tho, I just stuck it there

Thanks for all the comments, no offence taken at any of them, cept maybe Petes its worth at least two pints

I agree that I would make a lot more money on splitting the mods, I have all the standard items, including 9 original Wheels

The hardest thing to change back would be the Eibachs, I still have the original springs, but it would be too much of a job to change back just to sell the car, plus they do make big difference, and reduce a lot of body roll

Oh and the P1 splitter is bonded to the front bumper, so that wont come off in a hurry (a bumper swap would be the best bet)

Im still undecided at the moment, as every time I look at it, or drive it I want to keep it

Still im open to serious offers, but have no intention of splitting any bits at the moment

Cheers

Steve

I would buy it (with ALL mods) if the price was right. I'm currently waiting for my insurance company to pay out and then I can buy my replacement. Something like this would be perfect.
