Default Induction Kit Heat Shield

I have an SPT heat shield for the newage cars. This allows you to shield your induction kit from the engine heat. It doesn't fit with my FMIC as I have relocated the induction kit and it doesn't have a cutout for the FMIC hose. This cost me about £75 from the US when the exchange rate was good. Would take £40 delivered





And fitted....

From an ebay seller in the US, can't remember the details and can't trace it through my feedback as it was about 3 years ago.

great price i spent weeks tracking mine down from the states and yes it does make a difference, temps from mapping show 19 degrees inlet temps 9of course i dont know what stock is lol)

like the idea of trimiing the snorkel

I've got an IK heat shield on my classic. Will post some pics up. Would be easy to replicate. mmmmm got me thinking. I could put them into production

Was on the car when I bought it. Pretty sure it was fitted when the car was in Japan as it's not a brand that's available over here.
