Default Subaru Impreza UK Turbo.

Subaru Impreza UK Turbo.

1996 UK Model. 140k miles. Metallic Green.

Very reluctant sale of my pride and joy for the last 8 years, but I have realised that 3 scoobys on my driveway is not the most sensible thing in the World! I have put 100k mainly motorway miles on this car with barely a problem in 8 years. There is not even a single rattle on the inside of the car.

This car has been carefully looked after by ANG Services in Park Royal, who will happily vouch for this car. Has had a very recent cambelt replacement. This car is absolutely solid and properly looked after, will still give lots of good service.

The car is not standard, with several mechanical and cosmetic modifications:

1)Geniune Prodrive spoiler.
2)16” Gold Subaru alloys.
3)Godspeed Big Brake upgrade, with Brembo four pot callipers at the front.
4)Hayward and Scott full decat exhaust system.
5)Chipped and remapped by Bob Rawle
6)440cc Injectors
7)Upgraded Walbro fuel pump
8)STI Panel filter.

Car has been very sensibly modified, with extra sensors and new coil packs fitted before any serious work undertaken. The car has also had:
1)A new lighter sports clutch fitted
2)Recent new radiator.
3)Factory fitted air con installed, recently regassed.
4)Full tan leather interior
5)Recent Continental Sports Contact ZR tyres fitted all round.

Tax and MOT until end of November.

Very sorry to see it go, asking for £1,850 as is.

Thanks!

Asif

Don't know, as not thought that far ahead as yet.

I will bear you in mind if I do.

Thanks!

Default Change of plan

Right,

Want to sell this now, as have something else in mind. Price reduced, otherwise will go as Part Ex.

Will strip off bits before I do. Those who have requested bits will be contacted then.

Thanks

Asif

I'll offer you £1500 for the car as is - pending viewing and test drive. Not too far away from you either

Thanks for the offer, no harm in asking and so on.

I have been offered £2k for trade in, before which I will strip off the bits I can sell. Hoping I can net £500+ for those. It's just easier to flog it as is.

I reduced the price from £3k (the absolutely top maximum I could ever have hoped for) to a more realistic £2.5k.

As I am in no rush, am happy to wait for someone to come along and buy it for that price, otherwise will be slightly stripped and part ex'd.

Thanks again

Asif

Edited to add, would also be nice if someone actually bought it and continued to enjoy it as I have, as opposed to it merely being scrapped by a dealer.

Thanks for the reponse Asif. It does seem like a well cared for car.

My only hesitation is the high mileage @ 140K and its yet to have an engine re-build, which would be quite expensive and a risk on my part.

I'll up my offer to £1800. I don't mind if you would want to remove the audio as I have my own.

Not sure if you are looking for any part-ex? I have a 2000 Toyota Avensis 1.8 125K on the clock and I'd be prepared to give you £1200 cash on top, upping my total offer to over £2K

Thanks for the increased offer.

The trade in was what I was initially offered from the Nissan Dealer if I bought a brand new Pathfinder, which is what I am thinking about. I dare say I might even get more, if I push hard enough and show him the colour of my money.

Speaking of which, I would suggest to talk turkey face to face, not on the internet. Of course, after you have seen the car and I have seen the colour of YOUR money.

As you are not too far away why not pop down this weekend? Am working at home this weekend so will be around. What have you got to lose? After seeing the car and listening to me extolling its virtues for a little while I am sure you will be reaching into your pocket for the asking price.

Go on, you know you want to!
