Smile Complete exhaust system including headers

Hi All,

Here is my complete exhaust system, it also includes headers, - Complete de-cat.

I purchased this about 2 years ago at a cost of £1500 if i remember correctly its the Firestorm exhaust (Pictures of actual exhaust)

Looking for offers around £800 you will not be disapointed with the exhaust, increase BHP and sounds brill. the best i have ever seen or heard.

This has only been on my STi for about 12mths, from then its been sat in my garage.

Its not even an open neck downpipe it looks OE but without the cat.Have to agree if you paid 1500 for that you need looking at
I think a price nearer 200 is a bit more realistic TBH

TSL MOTORSPORT | Subaru Saab Mitsubishi | parts | repair | servicing | performance tuning | UK

Headers brand new at £495 plus Vat add a further £350 for coating,

£495 + £350 + VAT = just under £1k for headers alone,

Then there is de-cat down pipe, de-cat centre and backbox on top.

If you add it up, its around £1500 (With reduced VAT Rate!) couple of years ago it will have been a little more expensive too.

This is not a cheap aftermarket exhaust

The headers aren't ceramic coated which is what you've quoted, they are wrapped and that looks to be falling apart. I've just wrapped my headers, up pipe and down pipe and sprayed them with DEI spray for less than £100.

Second hand Blitz NUR spec exhausts go for around £300 and are of far better quality than the TSL stuff, I've owned a complete TSL system and quality is OK but it's not outstanding and certainly not worth the money they charge for it.

I honestly think you'll be lucky to see over £500 for this lot especially given its age.

last year somone was selling a complete rotated turbo system that included, headers, up pipe down pipe waste gate, turbo, centre and back box for £1000

Kind of puts things into perspective.

Why bother slagging off my thread when you have no intention of buying?

I was actually trying to point you in the right direction but you got snotty about it.

You crack on mate, It's not going to sell for anywhere near what you're wanting for it as I and several others have told you.

Do you honestly think someone will buy it now after all negative comments, saying its not outstanding, not worth its money and falling apart?

Sorry you feel like this mate, but you said the headers were ceramic coated, they aren't they are wrapped. It was the wrapping I refered to as falling apart not the headers themselves.

As for the quality of the system I didn't say it was sh*te because it's not.
It's a good system just not £1500 quids worth new.

I tried to make you aware that I thought, as others did, you were wanting too much for it all.

Anywhere between £500 and £600 is a reasonable price for the job lot.

Sorry if I pissed you off, that wasn't my intention.

Hopefully that sets the record straight.

Hi

Thanks for your reply, Sorry if i took things the wrong way, in my head i could not see people making offers based on the comments, with regards to header, you will see they are standard at £495 plus vat, as its be wrapped it will have cost more. When the exhaust was bought it did cost £1500 i may have the reciept somewhere.

Any way, the exhaust is now for sale with offers around £600 glad we did not have to fall out, hopefully may receive some offers now
