Carbon bonnet and scoop
Blobeye (03-05) shape with STI style scoop.
Bought this used a while back but have never used it. Both bonnet and scoop are like new (previous owner only used them for 5k miles apparently)
There is a small amount of clouding on the leading edge of the bonnet. It's very minor and I will put up pics later today.
Delivery will obviously be expensive but can be arranged or it can be picked up in Buckinghamshire.
First sensible offer gets it as the missus wants the spare bedroom back

Pics as promised:
Last picture shows the clouding.
Following this thread People Selling things on SNET
I've asked for offers as I don't have a clue what this might be worth.
If you're interested let me know what you want to pay.
You may get an absolute bargain

Is it possible to clear the cloudiness up? Am i right in thinking it is a carbon covering over a metal bonnet? (can't quite tell from the pics i'm afraid)
What's the weight difference between this and a standard bonnet? Also, how come you never fitted it?
cheers,,

5t,
Don't know on the clouding. Might try some polish later
There's no metal in the bonnet other than the inserts for fixing the hinges.
Weight wise I wouldn't think there's much between this and an alloy bonnet.
Bought it before I got the spec C with the intention of doing a black and white theme but had a change of heart and stayed with the factory look.
monkey.

cheers. always good to have an advertiser that replies to questions!
let me know how you get on with the polish though, i'e no seen it on a full carbon piece before, i've seen it as damp getting into a covering but if this has been indoors for ages that can't be it so a little intrigued!
