Smile Cusco Zero 1 Coilovers - FOR SALE in 2009

Cusco Zero 1 Coilovers with Adjustable top mounts.

Bought these brand new about 6mths ago (imported directly from Japan) and they are superb coilovers!

Unlike Tein which are harsh and soild as hell, these Cusco are just right for our bumpy, pot-hole filled British roads!

They are height adjustable and also ride adjustable... the springs can be made stiffer by compressing them more and elongating the shock within the lower mount as to not loose any height in compensation. Not the traditional way to increase ride stifness, but works all the same!

The front top mounts are adjustable to alter the camber of the wheels.

On the hardest setting the ride can be compared with the softest setting on Tein's (I know this coz my friend and I tested his Tein and my Cusco's all the time in comparison!)

They dont look as the do in these pics anymore (obviously) and are a bit dirtier now, but still work perfectly with no knocks or squeeks or anything!

What they looked like new...

What they look like now...

£500 Collection prefered, Hatfield AL10.

Sorry mate I'm not taking that little for them. I'd quite happily hold on to them for my next Scooby for that kind of money.

I'm currently doing a deal... these coilovers, fitted and tracking done for £700 all in!

So they definitely fit my 2003 blobeye STI Eurospec? Are they plug'n'play or?

If they fit and are plug'n'play, then 600 GBP delivered in Copenhagen, Denmark?

Send me an email on ***frecklish(ad)gmail.com*** as I'm rarely on SN these days.

Cheers.

/Filip

Hi y'all... yeah check the date but would you believe I still have them for sale!!!!

For reasons I can not go into, I got half way thru selling all the gear off my dead and burried Scooby and then left the world wide web for quite some time...

Anyway long story short - they are still for sale!

I was going to hold on to them as I'm now in the market for a new Scooby and was hoping to get a new age, but looks like I'm now getting a classic, so these have to go... they are the best coilovers in my opinion and I will be aiming for these on my classic.

These are very easy to fit so yes, plug and play! They will fit 01 bug to 04 blob, but I dont think they fit the 05 blob as the top mount fittings change. I had them happily at home on MY02.

£500 cash on collection

Have they been in use since you posted them for sale back in May 2007? What mileage have they been subjected to?

No, once they came off my car in Jan07 they have been sitting all wrapped up in my shed waiting for a new home. In total they were only on my car about 6mths from brand new so they've only covered in the region of a few thousand miles, no more than about 3 or 4k.

I cant rate Cusco's enuf compared to Teins... they are perfect for road use and not too harsh like Tein's where you feel every tooth in your mouth loosening while you drive.
