Default Budget Tuning Kit - Boost gauge, Knocklink, Dawes device, Dawes AFR, etc

I've collected a lot of tuning parts for my Forester, but a change of priorities means they are all up for sale.

Parts included are:

Autogauge Boost Gauge 52mm smoke - boxed, including gauge holder, wires, hose, and cable ties [bought new & used for a month]

Knocklink - with a remote LED module allowing you to hide the unsightly box! [bought used]

Dawes AFR gauge - supplied with a reel of wire to allow installation [bought used]

Dawes Device - Hybrid version with silicon hose and installation instructions [bought used]

Intercooler Tilt Kit - Unused and bought as part of a group buy on here, supplied with fitting instructions [bought new]

Intercooler Splitter - Unused and supplied with fitting instructions [bought new]

All this kit new would cost in the region of £300!!

I'd like to sell the lot for £185. Postage at extra cost (no more than £10 sent Special Delivery), although can be collected from Kingston upon Thames, Woking or at the Surrey Meet this Sunday!

Payment by cash, cheque or Paypal. Items will not be sent or handed over until funds have cleared.

I will only split if there is interest in all the items.

Cheers Mark, I don't mind someone getting a bargain, if it means I can get my DAB headunit!

Looking at how I would price the bits seperately means, as a job lot it's a bargain!

I've had some interest, if I'm prepared to split. I'll keep a list and do first come first served.

Knocklink - £100 [people interested]
Dawes AFR - £25 [people interested]
Boost Gauge - £35
Dawes Device - £25
Intercooler Tilt Kit - £5
Intercooler splitter - £10

Again postage would be extra, or collection available.

BR Developements are one of (if not) the largest suppliers of these in the UK, so have a quick look on their website for an accurate description of function.

A Dawes Device is a mechanical boost controller, which will allow you to set the boost level you require.

So basically, Dawes Device to set boost levels.

Use the boost gauge to ensure you are achieving a safe boost level.
Use an Air/Fuel Ratio gauge (AFR) or LamdaLink (basically the same) to monitor your fuelling level, to ensure you have enough fuel for your chosen boost level.
Use a Knocklink for active monitoring as it gives a "quick glance" visual indicator on how things are going.
The intercooler tilt kit moves the back of the intercooler up, so it allows more air to flow onto the intercooler.
The intercooler splitter ensure the air entering the scoop hits a larger surface aera of the intercooler.

I don't want to patronise you, but I found reading this article on How Stuff Works helped me understand a bit more of how the car works.

Also it's worth using the Search Facility here, as it will give lots of info!!!

Cheers
Andy
