they fit MY99 & MY00 the AE802 is good to be used for remapping, to TEK3 etc, and the AE800 is a better alternative to anyone who has an AE801 fitted

The 98 that james is refering to is a uk running a TD04 . Will this turbo bolt straight on with no adjustments ?

Will he require a remap once fitted as he is only running a standard Prodrive unit?

Last but not least , will he gain any pony's ?

Cheers Andy

Yep the VF24 will swap straight for a TD04 as this is what I was going to do on my MY00

Only things have changed and ive never got round to putting the turbo on

Ideally yes he will need a remap to take advantage, I know someone who had a 98 Wagon, put the turbo on (capped the boost with a dawes device, until remap time) and got approx 283 bhp on the rolling road, after the remap he got IIRC 318bhp

He ran with a std ECU, until remap and sold his PPP ECU that he was running at the time
