Brush,
I would split the kit if required. You could have the 1st Prodrive mid section (small box), with the Prodrive PPP rear box, which really opens up a standard Sti and makes a significant difference. Picks up quicker and revs much cleaner. The back box does make a difference on its own, but change out the 1st mid section (removing the second cat) and you will notice a much bigger difference and a much quicker car. When my car was new I was on the track at a Subaru day out and I had a straight through 1st mid section and a WR sport back box on at that time and I was simply walking away from the standard Subaru Sti cars; much quicker pick up out the corners.
I have photos of the WR sport rear box and the PPP back box side by side if you need them. The WR sport rear box will cost you £350 and from Subaru and you cannot buy the PPP back box direct, only as part of the PPP kit. This is a far more sought after piece of kit as most folk think it looks better and not forgetting it suggests you have a car with PPP fitted. Please note however, the two back boxes are the same, they even have the same part number (as least the two I had did), the only difference is the WR sport tail pipe is oval and the PPP back box is round and a bigger bore with “Prodrive” around the top of the outside the pipe at 12 o’clock, so to speak.
Need £100 for the SS Prodrive 1st mid section and £175 for the back box. You organise pick up and delivery, as I’m not even in the UK right now.
Let me know and please be aware that you are the second person to ask. I have not heard back from the first query yet. Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks, Jools

Inveruire, Aberdeenshire. Postal area is AB51 ***.
That should let you get a costing. Best to PM me on SN in case I miss a posting on here.
Cheers,
Jools
Could you email me a picture please? I've called into my dealer / mate tonight and he'd like to see a picture etc to ensure I keep warranty.
How can you assist getting it to me? I'm in Gloucester and you are miles away. It would presumably need to be couriered as collection is out of the question in person. Assume you are abroad.
Back Saturday now. Email martin.measures@bigfoot.com
