The standard stereo in a classic is a Phillips one, and as such will only work with a Phillips Changer.
I have a Phillips 6CD Changer from my classic for sale (along with the head unit), as I changed the head unit for a better Alpine one.
Let me know if you want the Phillips Changer mattsan, and my offer still stands problem child.

I take it that a 12 disc changer is too big to fit under the passenger seat....?
