Im no expert, but it will go into a 96 box. You will retain your other gearbox parts. Yes it is stronger because its made from a stronger material, so designed to handle more power.
It will make gearing much shorter, top speed of 120-125mph, similar to that of RA gearing. Its came off a car with a 4.1 rear diff.
