Thumbs up

fitting is fairly simple, but remapping is needed by trained technicians.RC developements or Abbey motorsports can help.
CAN WARN YOU OF DETTING,INCREASE BHP,BOOST,TORQUE...........OK THATS ENOUGH
Im sure you get the point.

I think there is a good possibility of fitting either car.Led to believe ther is some wires that may need to be changed around on the main ecu plug.
Im sure this has been discussed recently in a thread.

Question

Neil
if your wrx is a model with the later spec dash and digital ecu, then this may be a direct fit .Also is the coil pack slightly to the left of the car?the last wrx and sti classics have the same wiring and injector setup.

No sorry, just boost control solenoid, map sensor ,wiringpipes etc
its not a unit that sits inside tha car with *****/buttons(the boost control kit)
or a screen/display.

This is a highly recomended uppgrade, especialy on sti models.
Jap imports are prone to detting due to the lower octane in british fuel.
This unit can adjust fueling to suit 97ron fuel.
It will also give you shick loads of power on top end and mid range (higher boost pressure.

A 'must' on cars that have been de catted fully.

Going by that info it is this one:

GC8/GF8 (D - E type) 96/9 - 98/9 EJ20K 414-F005 415-X001 415-A001

Although it is supposed to be for a 1999 model.

The part no on the box is :414 F005
