Thankyou, just wondered how the perforated pipe is affected?
|
Don't do it , my wadding was removed from an hks box as the inner cage rotted so I cut the can open and removed all wadding , it sounded ****e and lost power

I have just bought this Crawford Gymkhana (no wadding to remove lol) as my current quad exit nur-spec is a bit quiet. |
Just bit the bullet and bought a hayward and scott cat back system.. Just need a reasonably priced decat downpipe now

It's a little too quiet mate.love the look of the tailpipes, but soundwise I found it very similar to the prodrive..

Will bring it along when I come to one of the meets :-)

Excellent mate!

I'm interested in this thread as I have just got a full HKS super drager system that has had a repair to the back box.The rest of the system is in pretty good nick but there is something rattling in the back box.I am planning on cutting it open all the way around the box the end where the system goes in,then re packing it with some quality wadding & hopefully have a pretty tidy zorst at the end of it.

I've cut open the top in three sections, easy to access the wadding, opened like large flaps.

I thought it would be easier to cut round the circumference of th back box at the end where the exhaust goes in.What do you think? |
Haha,no mate,it has a central chamber soon would have to cut open both ends. The top is a much easier option ( not saying flaps again) . Ps,does depend what the hks looks like though.
