Spec C and 2.0l twinscroll JDM engine specification is the same - so T20 will take the same power regardless of base model. It's the VF36/37 that is the limit at around 360/370 IME. Hence the LM series of bolt-on turbo upgrades.

Me personally I thought - and explored - all manner of upgrades but came round to thinking "hang on, would it then be a true T20?" so I stuck to the 'purist path'. I suppose there is the view that if Litchfield does its own suggested upgrade then in reality you've a Hawk T20 'Mk 2'. |
It's not just 52bhp though :) That's just the peak figure which isn't really very interesting. It's the rest of the map fill that will make the difference to how it performs :) As long as the lag isn't greatly different a 52bhp increase should make a heck of a difference in the performance below the peak figure :)

Had I not been so far into building my classic Sti RA I would sell up and buy this. I think it's a great car that has clearly been much loved and very well looked after.
