Paul's career at Prodrive started in February 1989 when he joined as a rally technician. He progressed to senior technician and then team manager of the Subaru Allstars - Prodrive's customer rally team.

During many successful years with the Allstars, Paul was responsible for a small team of people who won many championships throughout the world, including the Team's Cup championship for Toshi Arai in 2000. Paul moved to the Subaru World Rally Team at the beginning of 2001 and his responsibilities now include managing all operational issues on and off event and ensuring that the team maintains the highest standards throughout the season in all areas.
