P Reg 1.2 Corsa Trip
Hi all,
We're due to move from our flat in about a month and will no longer be needing our run about. Was going to scrap it but thought I would offer it up here first in case someone is looking for a run about.
It was originally brought for a shopping trolley but has been a reliable little runner with trips to North and South Wales (from London), Norfolk, Hampshire and Essex all being completed hassle free.
1996 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Trip
HPI Clear
76,854 miles
Taxed until 30-09-14
MOT until 13-05-2014
Some history including last few services (most recent being basic service when last MOT in May 2013.
Original owners manual and other booklets.
JVC CD player
Has been silly cheap to run over the last few years.
Few points:
- Rear window glue along the bottom has perished over this winder. Nothing serious but you can move the bottom out slightly, a cm or so of wiggle. I was going to get AutoGlass round to re-seal but as considering scrapping I haven't bothered.
- About four times in our ownership (5+ years) about 4-5 times she has struggled to start on a damp day (most times no issues). Bit of WD40 and no problem but thought I would mention it. Often left for a month without use then starts first time in depths of winter... Still amazes me
- One of the brackets holding the sun visor has broken.
- Some dents and rust.
- Needs a new rear window wiper.
- Radio aerial broken.
- When dipped beams are on, the full beams sometimes flicker on and off.
The above is everything I can think of.
Looking for £250 which how much I've been offered for scrap including returning the tax
Based in Putney, SW15.
Obviously needs a clean too..
