Default Renaultsport Clio 197 2006 59k FSH p/x Impreza

The time has come to sell my much loved RS 197. It's been a fantastic car which I have owned since May this year and will be sad to see her go. I am a car club member so this car hasn't been thrashed within an inch of it's life, I have customised it cosmetically for the enjoyment of standing out within the club. Most stickers are now removed ready for sale. Since owning I have fitted a stainless steel cat back exhaust for increased flow and performance and personally I prefer to hear the engine over the stereo. I still have the original rear box if not to your taste (it's quite throaty) which I can supply to the purchaser. I then custom finished the factory alloys in red as wanted a different look but not to change the already perfect factory handling by changing wheels and fitted a K&N panel filter. It's covered around 61,000 miles which will rise as in use daily and importantly benefits from having a full service history all stamped up in the original book. She had a new cam belt, water pump and cam pulley at 48k and recent set of NGK Platinum Spark Plugs along with a re-charge of the climate control. OBC reports next service is due in about 2k miles which is an oil service..

Maintenance/Service record is as follows;

4806 miles @ Renault Croyden
15,243 miles @ Fish Brothers Renault Swindon
23,360 miles @ Darlingtons Essex
42,313 @ DSG Renault Barrow
48,940 miles @ Bradleys Renault Newtown
(Timing Belt, Waterpump & Cam Pulley)

I am looking for a tidy classic or bug eye valued around 3-3.5k.
Really need around £1500 plus you're car or straight cash sale.

I know you love it, but not every one will, it's marmite! Get the wheels painted black take the stickers off, and it will sell easily.

I think it looks great.
If any prospective buyer wants to change anything aesthetically (as we all have different tastes) then its no major issue, not everyone likes black wheels :-)

Gotta play the percentages to sell a car though ..

Will the people who like it be willing to buy it .. good cars, big market for them too.

Definitely marmite, just wanted it to be a bit different. Appreciate it's not everyones cup of tea though. Have debated removing stickers but for the moment I'll see what interest it gets from that kind of market. Thanks for the feedback
