i am regretfully selling my 2002 nighthawk black Civic type R. HPI CLEAR
I have owned this car for the last year and in that time i have spent a lot of time and money on it in improving it, it is not your usuall type r, this car turns heads everywhere it goes. It has also had all of the usuall civic type r problems solved and cured.This car has also been in totally modified magazine. It has never wanted for nothing, im only selling now as i work 47 miles away and cannot jusify the fuel costs. thanks

EXTERIOR -

Finished in nighthawk black
30th anniversary style rear tinted windows
Carbon fibre wrapped door pillars
Gold ROTA BOOST alloys (genuine)
Gold decals on rear screen and bonnet (removable if not to your taste)
Overall lovely looking car


SUSPENSION AND HANDLING

This type R is lowered 60mm at the moment on fully adjustable coilovers, the C spanner to adjust them will come with the car,
it has been fast road set up
just had new anti roll barr links
Front and rear mid level strut braces

INTERIOR

all the usuall civic type r goodies,
bucket seats drivers seat base is torn, but never really bothered me as seats are cheap to buy but ive always had a red seat cover on the seat
Air con
leather steering wheel
heated mirrors
heated rear screen
everything works
Will not come with a stereo but all the door speakers are however uprated from the standard rubbish.



WHEELS AND BRAKES

The wheels are 17" ROTA BOOSTS in gold, these are very expensive lightweight race wheels, just google the name rota if you dont already know.! worth almost 1000 pounds new
4 Drilled and grooved uprated disks with uprated pads.
Dot 5.1 fluid

ENGINE AND GEARBOX

Arguably the most important part of any civic type R.

Fully serviced
Mileage is 100k
Had the timing chain , tensioners, and guide rails replace within the last 7 months with genuine honda parts (receipt to show)
has a bmc Carbon dynamic airbox with cold air feed
decat pipe - (causes the EML to stay on)
full CUSTOM stainless steel exhaust with angled 4 inch jap style rear can- this is the loudest civic type r i have heard! sounds awesome and turns heads but may not be to everyones taste so ive got the origianl rear box too
Powerflex engine mountings - give a awesome throtte response but you can feel more virbations
had a REPLACMENT GEARBOX from a 2005 car so no longer has any of the 3rd gear crunch that 90 per cent of type R's suffer with,
EXEDY clutch was also put in when the gearbox was replaced
LIGHTENED flywheel from a facelift car was also put in.

To sum up this is a very good example of a all round well modified CIVIC type r, it will come with a full 12 month mot for the buyer /winning bidder.
Please bear in mind this car is over 8 years old now so does have the usuall marks assosiated with that and aso the front bumper has a stonechips on it from where i used to do motorway journeys to and from work.

extrerior also has aero front wipers

all rear badges removed except type R

interior - center console has been painted in bmw arctic grey to make a change from the usuall silver.

MOT has just been completed too ! only needed new anti roll bar links!!


Price is £3750 or im after a swap for a nice blob eye wrx if anybodys interested thanks
