Leon 1.4S For Sale Cheap
Leon 1.4 Sport 16 Valve, In Silver, Alloy Wheels, 6 cd changer, 5 speed, big boot,5 doors,economical.141k,
Recent headgasket,brakes,calipers,springs,exhaust work all done, 12 months mot 5 months tax.
ideal for first time driver. Only selling due to a upgrade to a leon cupra now i got my precious 1 years NCB
good points:
new headgasket,complete timing kit,oil,plugs, checked over cylinder head ,new exhaust valves.
good mpg £70 fills and lasts for 500 miles easily if driven properly
Nippy for a 1.4s
Cheap to insure
12 months mot
5 months tax
6 cd changer
new springs all round
2 new calipers and all new discs and pads few months ago
new downpipe and center cat (type approved)
alloy wheels with good tyres (2 winter fronts) all round
new coolant temp sensor
new spark leads
new front wipers
loads of history and receipts
all new front bulbs (genuine seat)
new cv joints and 2 front bearings done last year
new starter last year
Clutch is good,gearbox smooth and no whines
2 new front arb bushes
rear abs sensor recently
New front windscreen several months ago
Will come with spare discs and pads, used.
Bad points:
Oil light. Car runs and doesnt use oil at all, engine has no knocks or bad noises. Needs new sensor, Will replace before sale.car runs perfectly
Engine light: emissions code needs reset after changing the cat,
needs center exhaust mount (£3 of ebay!) rattles a little bit on startup, goes after a mile or so. no damage at all
scratches on drivers side. Otherwise very clean bodywork.
Boot doesnt always lock,but easy to replace the boot lock
The car is not mint and show condition obviously. Its got its bad points as described. Yet its a great run around, with the above problems sorted it be ideal first car,run around etc.
Has done me long trips all over scotland without a problem,comfortable car
bodywork shines and is a genuine honest car

Well after driving to Aberdeen 3 times, Banff once, for some viewing's. Only for 2 of them to get the hump when they couldn't drive it without proving insurance, 1 never got back in touch,1 saying the engine is knackered?? . . Said it's still leaking oil from the temp sensor, When i had a new one fitted 2 days before, replaced it with another spare new one, and he was like it's lost loads of oil!! ( about 25ml from removing the sensor and putting in a new one!!) offered me £500 max, so i walked away.
She's no longer up for sale. Selling the Impreza's bottom end, forge header tank,few other bit's and bobs to pay the rest of for the new leon cupra.
Keep this one as a run-around to work, the red one as a treat now and again.
Build up the Impreza with the little pennies i have left,
