I am putting the Clio up for sale as I've just put a deposit down on a new car and need to sell at least on of the toys to make space on the drive!
I also have my Impreza for sale, so if that sells first then I'll be keeping this. I have 2 track days booked so will still need a car for those!
it’s a 2005 182 Cup in inferno Orange.
I bought the car in January with the intention of doing some track days, I found I actually started using it more as a daily as it's such a hoot to drive. Since I've had the car I've spent a fortune making sure everything is running right with receipts to prove. All work on the car has been done professionally, I don't have the time to tinker myself. I've only done 2 novice track days in the car and it has performed faultlessly! Unfortunately the track time has been severely limited by COVID. The car has just been MOT'd today.
126k miles with history file and lots of receipts
Timing belt and dephaser done in Oct 2019 (timing redone in July as it was out!)
New clutch Aug 2019
Brakes overhauled Aug 2019 including braided hoses.
Eibech springs
Cup shocks
Will come with Team Dynamics Pro Race 3 wheels with nearly new NS2r tyres
Various poly bushes
Cat back custom exhaust
Induction kit
Pro2000 drivers set (34" waist) and Club Sport XL passenger seat. Both in good condition.
Half roll cage
Fitted Rear Mat
Since I've had the car I have replaced:
Both driveshafts
Front and rear ABS sensors
Gearbox oil
4 genuine injectors
New alternator
Timing adjusted.
I also though the rear beam looked a bit corroded so replaced that with a clean second hand one. This totals £1800 in the last 6 months! I also bought a set of OZ superleggeras that are available separately or once the car is sold (not before).
Body work on the car is not perfect. It has a few little marks around the car and some bubbling on the rear arch, the wheels could do with painting if you're fussy. That never bothered me as the car still looks great on the track and is one of the nicer colours IMO. When I just got the car back from the MOT garage, it has the service light on due to an airbag fault. It didn't have this before going in but they needed to connect the horn and I wonder if this has caused it (the horn was disconnected when I bought it..). I will try to get this rectified when I have time. Other than that the car is mechanically perfect.
