Default Car History

Soooooo im sitting here in the front room, and I just thought to myself what car i regret selling the most in my history of cars. Ive had a few cars such as police spec vectra, cavalier, classic v6, sierra rs cosworth, focus st.

Worst thing is out of all them i regret selling my st170 as it was so well setup for track days on tight short circuits. Some of the astra vxr boys couldnt keep up with me until the straights.

What car do you guys regret selling

My second Scooby, bought it with low miles and loved it. Didn't sell it, took it to a garage, they took it out on a test drive and someone wrote it off ..

Such a waste.

i had a mk2 sri130 then went to a mk3 gsi2000 2wd and then a gsi2000 4x4 which was a bit of a let down to be fair as it lacked the extra grunt the 4x4 system needed,i then moved onto calibras

I've had a few cars now, I started a thread some time ago covering all cars, looking for it ........https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...ry-so-far.html

Renault Alpine was one of the most fun to drive, but god what a pita to maintain.
RS Turbo was fun to modify power wise, but 2 engines later and 3 turbos I gave in lol
Subaru's hmmm I've had a few, the last one probably being the nicest example that I sold yesterday, but I've had enough of them

Passed test at 19 and started a new job

1999-2001 Corsa sxi 1.5td new
2002 Pug 206 HDI Dturbo new
106 gti
Mk6 Escort RS2000
Civic vti eg shape
Clio 172
99 Turbo 2000
99 Type R 2 door
Golf VR6
series 2 rs turbo (mk3 golf daily)
Mazda 6 MPS
Blob STI PPP
Evo 8
E46 M3
Mk5 Golf GTI
Audi S3 8p

Currently a Toyota avensis daily and a mint turbo 2000 for weekends/fun

My car History was determined by my job ie new diesels for work as i had to move away from Belfast to begin with, then had a spate of hot hatches in my early 20's, then onto the scoobs. Engagement and marriage but a stop to the nice stuff for a while then most recently back into the performance stuff as insurance was easier. Along the way i did bits and pieces to them all to keep me interested

Out of them all i regret selling the Type R. So as circumstances change and kids come on the radar i thought a sensible daily and a nice impreza for the weekends made most sense, so here i am at 33 back where i started with another impreza bought last week

Not sure bud. Might have a break for a while and get into track action when I've done other things which are more pressing on my list, such as improve/extend house within the new year which will take all my spare time off my hands and concentrate on bettering my career
