What's the word on these, all the reviews I've seen so far have been pretty good except for the running costs which I'm not to fussed about coming from a 2 Subaru house.
In the specs I've read they do seem to lack torque, is there any cost effective mods to improve this?

only mod worth doing is fit a supercharger on , but that is a £10k + conversion !!
fit a decat and a remap will net you 30-40 bhp(£3k-4k + )so not worth the money unless you go the charger route.
running cost is not bad if you can service it yourself (I do )
biggest cost is fuel..........average mpg around town is 17-18
For a high performance saloon it actually cheaper to run than my P1 !!!!

My mate has an 08 white m3 from new, never had any bother at all, but he does drive it like a granny lol, if it was my money I would be looking towards a r35, less common around where I live anyway lol.
