I want something small and discreet but cannot find anything worth getting. Even the big names arent getting it right with over heating issues, day/night change issues. To be honest the app 'my car record light', which is free is hard to beat.

I'm interested in this... would like something for about £50-100 so if there's any recommendations then I'd appreciate it too. Maybe we could have a list of the best cameras in specific price ranges?

I almost can't believe that crash..... are some people really that ******* stupid? Words fail me. Such an easily avoidable mistake..... when you are about to reverse, check your mirrors to make sure nothing is there!

The one I got for £25 is Russian lol. So far it seems to work after a fashion. I'm still not sure if it will overwrite to the micro SD when the card is full or not. There are options for 2 min or 3 min loops, with a 2g or 4g 'crash' causing the current 'loop' to be written to the micro SD card. I just have it writing constantly. There is a motion detecting start and stop but this is rubbish in low light conditions. The battery seems to last 30 mins.

Another thumbs up for the Mobius

£71 including the windscreen mount and shipping from a UK supplier - only took three days to arrive and once you get your head around it and install the set up file it's a cracking piece of kit... the size of a tic tak packet...

Just remember to take the lens cap off before you start recording each trip... yup, done that more than once....
