You could get that money for a highline, I have one thats just been valued at £7.5-8K and it's got 105k on the clock !

However & as has been said on here before, most of the people on this board are in the know and will not pay the going rate for any vehicle least of all a VAG motor. Stick it in the Autotrader or go to a dealer at least then you will have the bottom line figure to except from any punter !

What does a hi-line have, that a normal VR6 hasn't ?

'coz mine has black heated leather, Aircon and a leccy sunroof.

It's not a hi-line, so i guess it was specced up at VW ?

P.S Good Luck selling, mine is a 97(P) in silver and I want

£8000.

What makes you sure it isn't a Highline?!

Cheers for the reply, I was 'told' that the hi-lines weren't available in silver.

Apparently they also have a wooden gearknob and slightly smaller vr6 badges front and rear ? Could be wrong tho'

P.S Get's Phil Jackson's ad to the top again at £9995 ...........

 

From the sounds of it there is not allot of difference at all, the Highline was only availible in purple and blk, has a std gearknob, and had the heated leather, aircon, ABS etc... apprently it was a ltd production run so they are supposed to hold their value better, but to be honest i've seen no evidance of that.

Do the std VR6's have heated mirror's as they highline does? The only difference i can see as a Highline owner is the leather as std not as an option other that that i know of no difference !!

I've just had to run outside to check the wing mirrors ! !
ha ha ha (only had it 18 months ! )

NO heated mirrors tho' . gutted, i think this is the only
option i've got missing.

Anyone know of any good VW websites to advertise the car ?

Only ones i've found are quite small.
