Default RS Focus

Going to look at this later today. Ok in the dry but reckon it will be a handful in the wet.

I think they are one of only a few cars that look superb in total standard trim, i think the black looks good but each to their own i guess

If that's your postcode on the link I'd edit it just in case any opportunists want to know where to find an orange ST.

I like the Focus RS it is a "proper motor" but it's not for everyone. Lovely to drive and it feels well planted. Not sure on the lime green paint job though think that only works on Lambos and the like.

0 to 60 in 5.9 seconds !!!! With 380 BHP. Does that mean that the first two seconds were front wheels spinning.

I love these cars, but the black wheels are a bit too much IMO.

The green looks so much better than what those photographs suggest too.

looks like kermit shot his love juice all over it.

Not for me i'm afraid and at almost 22k I can think of soooo many cars i'd sooner have, like a Spec C and change for some serious mods for a start.

completely agree 22k for focus is mega money. So many other cars I would be looking at before I even looked towards a focus.

Yes its a lot of money, but i was looking at a similar age Scooby hatch, but you have to remember even though there cheaper you need to keep 2K spare for when the engine goes pop

Yep it's strong money but even at 22k what would you buy?
I've had most subaru's , evo's from 5's to the 9 , m3 csl (people didn't even know what it was inc the missis!)..911 996's
For all the focus has its downfalls ie not 4wd it has good road presence , holds its value really well and doesn't attract every ******** trying to race you!
I'm only selling as I want a investment property and mine will free a good lump of money
Not many cars about at the mo that are holding the money.....these are

I would personally look to buy a audi rs4 or maybe a e90 m3. I would feel a lot more comfortable spending 20k plus on a car like that rather than a ford focus.

Love the dodgy dealer stamp, different pen colour to the stamp sign, and then a crossed out stamp for next time

Noble is still on the list like .....missis and kids can follow me in hers

20k doesn't get you much....it's like having 3k....every car that takes your eye is 5k

I'd say a Hawk JDM STI or Spec C will hold their money just as well, and still give change and better performance too, both will come in under £15k and with £2k worth of mods Focus won't see either for dust, cane the **** off it for a year flog it and probably lose next to nothing.

I recon the focus is at the point where their loosing circa £2/3k a year minimum and probably closer to £5k for kermit above, i'll wager you'll be able to pick them up for £10/12k in a couple of years, it's a fat wedge to slip through your fingers in such a short time.

But i'm biased.

Ive had a blobeye scooby and while it was superb for a blast, going out with the family was awful, my modded focus st was fun on a blast and also ok on motorway. Reckon the RS will be similar but its also a RS which when youve loved fast fords is always a strong point
