Default From Subaru JDM STI to Sierra Sapphire Cosworth 4x4

After just over three years in the Subaru scene I sold my JDM Blob STI as I fancied a change and made the decision to buy a 93 K Plate Nouveau Red Sierra Cosworth 4x4.
Initially I wanted a 3 door but prices have really shot up recently, so I eventually settled on a Sapphire. At the weekend I made a 500 mile round trip to look at this one and drove it home that day. Really pleased with it so far.
Gave it a clean and took it out for a drive yesterday, here are some pictures....

Will definetly own another Subaru one day, probably a Type R. Met some great people in the Subaru community in the time I owned mine.
For the time being thought I'm going to enjoy this and look after it like its previous owners.

Looks neat

One of these round here, same colours as well

The interior would kind of put me off, but i imagine you'll get your money back and then some later on

I wanted the cloth interior, not to keen on the leather.

They made Magenta and Nouveau Red, this one is Nouveau Red. Would have loved a 3 door but prices are sky high these days for a good one.

I used to have a a flint grey sapphire cosworth.
Within a week of selling it on after I was done with it, the guy that bought it wrecked the ******* thing.
Approached a roundabout far too fast, couldn't get it stopped and drove over the roundabout ripping all four corners off it amongst other damage.
Never really fancied the escort cosworth

Love the 3 door mate slightly over my budget though. Do you use yours much? It's running the Motorsport developments 380 conversion, t34 turbo Siemens 55's, pace cooler, 200 block etc.

Nice setup. I only bought it as it was cheap & needs some TLC. Every time I drive it I feel like the king! But no, only driven it a few times as I havent had the chance yet. At the moment its getting a full respray

lovely car, ive always had a massive soft spot for fast fords. always wanted a escort cosworth, just looked at the prices now, most are more than they were new. One way of looking at it is you can have a year or two of free driving as the car wont lose any moey if you look after it

how does this feel to drive then? after all its 20 years old
