Default VW or specifically Polo forums?

Since picking up my 2003 Polo TDI, I wanted to do a couple of things; namely pick up the Haynes book for it and join a decent forum for help/advice should it be required.

I'm sure there's some VAG heads on here so was wondering if anyone (apart from Mr Google ) had any suggestions on a good forum to use?

ClubPolo looks good with regular postings and is maybe better than a generic VW forum.

(For the record I'm not looking to join and ruin my car into some VeeDub monstrosity - just basically look after it and get assistance on servicing jobs or anything else that might pop up).

Thanks.

Seems pretty solid so far. Couple of niggles like stuck drivers door lock and a worn engine mount underneath but it's 10 years old.

What's so bad about VW's or Polo's of this age? They hold their money well (could've got a 54 plate 307 for £2k) so how are they unreliable?

Coming from a guy that's had four Peugeot's and a Citröen.

I had a '02 1.2 Polo in 2006, worst car I've ever had (although the Mercedes I have now is running it close). ABS failure, all sorts of suspension failures, electrical circuit failure mounting to thousands of £.

My brother in law had a '03 Polo 1.4. They had suspension problems and frequent and random breakdowns. VW just shrugged their shoulders and had no idea, this was 5 years old at the time.

I move to Yorkshire 4 years ago and someone in my church had a '53 Polo. In his own words, "the worst and most unreliable car I have ever had".
