Lovely GTE, have had a few in my youth and would love to have a go in one now to see if they are still as bonkers as I remember them! Here's a pic of my last one, swapped it for a POS RS Turbo in the end

My first car was an Astra MK1 1.6 SR, boy did I have some fun in that ! Yours looks like new since the respray, good work

Love the old gte's proper soft spot for them. I have had a few, both 8 and 16v.

Both true statements.
Just a shame that without dropping them cornering at speed and in less than dry conditions it would be hello mister hedge or it would seem my wheels have turned but the car has decided it wants to go straight lol so much fun though lol
Don't forget the awesome power to weight :-)

I had a mk 1 in black, would love another but finding a good clean one with no rust is impossible.

great seeing those pics cheers guys. yes ill be keeping mine for a while proper love it, no match for the impreza but for turning heads etc its priceless. it does go well even by todays standards i think it handles well but you can tell the car was built in a different era as to todays better standards but hey thats why i like it so much.

theres on on ebay i seen only last week in black.
