VEMAC 320R (GT for the road..!)

For any of you that read EVO (Latest edition), I had a ride in the VEMAC 320R (the white one) last night.
Oh my god..!! what a car..!!
It has to be the MOST, EXTREME car I’ve ever been in...!!! after all it is a proper GT car.
The 320R entered its first race last week in the Japanese GT series and won straight out of the box.. and this was against Skylines, NSX’s, etc (Your typical PS2 – GT3 line up…!) being 1.5 seconds a lap quicker than anything else..!
It’s incredibly noisy and smells of petrol as the tuned V6 (which howls
) sits about a foot away just behind the bulk head.. you can feel the tyres really working as it has amazing grip.. 265 x 18 rubber at the front and 295 x 18 at the back.. I think..? As it’s a track car it feels every bump, and due to the lack of suspension travel it tends to bounce and kangaroo on bumpier roads, the brakes are immense.. 6 pot water cooled callipers…!!! And Massive disks..! it feels incredibly quick, and overtakes as my old Scoob could only dream of...
Mind you it should be for about 150k…

Actually no it didn't win against the Skyline's, Nsx's & Supra's as the Vemac is not in the GT500 Class. It takes part in GT300 with Porsche, Nissan Silvia, Toyota MR-S, Ferarri 360, Scooby Impreza.
Lap time of the winning GT500 car (au CERUMO Toyota Supra)was 1'25.942
Lap time of the winning GT300 car (Vemac 320R) was 1'32.872
It was also slower than all of the GT500 cars.

Also the enigne used in the Vemac is from the NSX.
