Default Evo 8 FQ300 - Whats it worth?

Just after some advice regarding value on the Evo 8 FQ300. Done 51k, 2 onwers, silver & full service.

Any ideas to what it would be worth?

What year?

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/lis...&Submit=Search

They seem to hold their price a lot better than Scoobs, bloody ugly cars inside.

Id say between £7.5k-£8.5k depending on condition, You can get a Evo 8 MR for around the £10k mark, so a normal FQ300 would be well below that mark!!

Get a Evo 7 RS if you want something light and quick and drives like a spec c/type ra etc

I always find parkers to either over value or under value the cars.

I am not to keen on the 7's. This 8 has a 2.3l stroker, cossie cams, ported head, vipec ecu, ross sport fmic, GMF manifold, Tomei Turbo, Tomie elbows, RS box with 4.11 final drive. Plus lots of other goodies.

I was going to say avoid the FQ and get the better MR but thats quite a spec, i have noticed though theres that many modded Evos the prices arent much more than standard unless they're crazy powered.

I'd probably say with that spec about 10k but i aint no evo expert/enthusiast.

Whats happened to that lovely looking bugeye spec c in your avatar?

Price guides like Parkers or similar are pointless on performance cars like this they are hard to value. Best to look on eBay or autotrader and see what they are selling at, more so eBay as you will see the final sale prices.

I got £7750 last month for my Evo 8 FQ00 with 63k. Black, unmodified, half leather, fsh, just serviced and MoT'd. I had serious interest from Germany too.

The value all depends on mods or lack of, and where it is in the country.

I sold my 91k FQ300 on an 03 plate that had a few marks on the body work for £5k.

So a mint one of lesser mileage, I wouldn't give more than £7k for.

Remember, they are only worth as much as someone is willing to pay. I could've had mine up at £7k but i'd have never got a bite.

I sold my 8 - 260 for 8.5k last year to a foreign buyer (garage owner in france). It was modded to about 400bhp and didnt look like a 260. Only engine mods were uprated cams, and that was about 56k miles on the clock partial history, but diy oil and filter change every month and ayc every few months (all receipts for products used etc)

yes, I used to do 150 miles per day in it, not like other evo owners who rarely drive them!
