Default mg zr oil filter removal

hi lads i know it a backwards step but the missus needed a car while i work on the scoob. well went to service her today and while trying to remove the oil filter using a chain wrench for removing it, it didnt budge but cave in, so resorted to the good old screwdriver and that aint budging either any advice would be great on removing this bloody thing

can you get hold of the claw style filter remover? it looks like a standard style fitter so it sounds like its just too tight
